The math nobody talks about

91% of your pet's life happens without you.

Your dog sleeps 13 hours a day. While you're at work, they live another 8 — chasing something in the garden, staring out the window, finding that perfect nap spot in a patch of afternoon sun.

When you get home, you're cooking, on your phone, decompressing. Your dog is right there — but you're not really watching.

Tally it up honestly: the average dog owner truly witnesses about 1 hour of their dog's waking day. Over a 12-year lifespan, that's 1 year you actually see. The other 11 years — 91% of their entire waking life — happened without you.

Unlike your own memories, you can't go back for them.
Pawcast exists to change that.

Of your pet's entire waking life passes without you there to see it. Pawcast gives you that time back — one day at a time.

Three steps. That's it.

You do step one. The camera and AI handle everything else.

Raw footage versus AI auto-edited side by side showing pet POV footage

AI does the editing

When the camera docks to charge, footage uploads automatically. The AI selects the best clips, cuts them together, adds music and captions — all personalised to your pet's profile.

No app to open. No settings to adjust. No editing queue.

Watch your pet's day

Open the app. Today's recap is ready. 60–90 seconds of your pet's actual day, from their actual point of view — edited, captioned, and ready to share or keep forever.

One tap to post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts. Or just watch it on the couch. Both are valid.

The Output

This is what shows up
in your app every night.

One real day. Zero editing. Music matched, captions written, highlights selected — all by the AI. You open the app, hit play, and that's it.

  • 60–90 seconds of your pet's actual day
  • Best moments selected automatically
  • Music matched to your pet's personality
  • Caption written in your pet's voice
  • One tap to post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts

One real day. Zero editing. 100% made by Pawcast — you didn't lift a finger.

Luna's Monday — zoomies, nap time, suspicious squirrel watch

One product.
Three things that matter.

Hardware, AI, and a growing archive — all working together from day one.

01 · Hardware

The Camera

A 40g collar-worn camera that feels like a small charm. Clip it on in the morning, dock it to charge when you're home — it does the rest. IPX7 waterproof. USB-C charge. Your pet forgets it's there within a day.

Lightweight. Waterproof. Forgotten by day two.

02 · Intelligence

The Edit Engine

Footage uploads automatically on charge. Our AI reviews every clip, selects the highlights, cuts them together, adds music and captions — all personalised to your pet's profile you set up during onboarding. Name, breed, personality traits, quirks. A finished video waits in the app every evening.

Your pet's story, told their way.

03 · The Archive

The Pet Diary

Every recap stacks chronologically in the app — like a personal TikTok where your pet is the only creator. Browse by month. Add notes to any day. Share entries or post to social. After 6 months it's an archive. After a year it's a habit. After 3 years, it's something no one can ever replicate.

A life story. One day at a time.

Before

Pawcast app — Day 1 diary, one cat video entry, warm golden light, empty state below
Day 1 Cute.

Day 1 is cute.
Day 30 is a habit.
Day 365 is irreplaceable.
Day 1,095 is a memoir.

Most products give you something once. Pawcast gives you something that compounds.

After a few months of daily recaps, you have a diary that no other app, no other camera, no other subscription can replicate. Because it's yours — every entry is a real day in your pet's real life.

When a pet eventually passes, that archive doesn't become useless. It becomes priceless.

We didn't design the Diary to lock you in. We designed it because once you have 500 entries, no one needs to convince you to keep going.

"It's become a family tradition. We watch our dog's day together after dinner every night. My kids fight over who gets to watch the recap first."

The Urban Dog Walker Parent

Your dog goes on 2–3 walks a day. Half of them with a walker you mostly trust. You'd love to actually know where they went, what they did, whether your dog had a good time — not just get a "great walk! 🐾" text.

"Now I know my dog walker actually goes to the park. Total peace of mind."

The Social Pet Creator

You post your pet regularly. You love it. But between filming, picking clips, cutting them in CapCut, finding music, and writing a caption with hashtags — you're spending 45 minutes on content that should take 30 seconds.

"I stopped opening CapCut entirely. Now I just wake up to a cute recap and post it."

The Curious Free-Roam Owner

Your dog has free run of the garden. Your cat disappears at 7am and reappears at 5pm looking smug. You've wondered, genuinely, what actually happens out there all day.

"My cat's POV videos went viral. Twice. The wide-angle from cat height is something you can't get any other way."

The questions you actually have.

About the $1 Reservation

Your $1 holds a unit in our first production batch of 500. You're not paying for the product today — you're securing your place in the queue. The remaining balance ($178 for the Starter Kit, $98 for the Camera) is only charged when your unit is ready to ship.

Yes. Anytime, for any reason, before your unit ships — we'll cancel your reservation and refund your $1 immediately. No awkward emails. No cancellation fees.

A free waitlist tells us you're curious. A $1 reservation tells us you actually want one. We want to build our first batch for people who genuinely intend to use Pawcast — not a list of email addresses.

If there's a significant delay beyond our communicated timeline, we'll notify you proactively and give you the option to cancel for a full refund. No hard feelings.

About the Product

In our testing, the vast majority of dogs and cats stop noticing the camera within 1–2 days. At 40g, it's lighter than most collar ID tags. The key is clipping it on at a calm moment rather than during a walk — your pet investigates it briefly, then moves on.

Yes. The wide-angle lens and lightweight design work well for both dogs and cats. Cat footage tends to be particularly popular — the low-to-ground perspective captures things that look completely different at human height.

The AI editing, daily recaps, and Pet Diary features require a subscription ($20/month or $180/year). The camera works as a standalone USB bodycam without a subscription — footage is accessible by plugging in via USB-C. The Starter Kit includes 6 months of subscription so you can build a real diary before deciding.

During setup, you fill out a quick pet profile — name, breed, personality traits, quirks, preferred vibe for the recaps. The AI uses this to personalise captions, music selection, and editing style. The longer you use it, the better calibrated it gets.

You can create separate profiles for each pet in the app. Each device captures footage from one pet's perspective, but you can manage multiple devices and diaries within the same account.

High-definition footage through a wide-angle lens. The footage has a natural, documentary quality to it — designed to capture everyday life beautifully. Some early testers noted indoor clips in lower light can be softer; we've improved the low-light processing ahead of the production batch.

Don't let another year go by unseen.

Right now, your pet is probably napping in a sunbeam somewhere. Or staring at the door waiting for you. Or having the greatest adventure of their week in the back garden — with nobody watching.

Pawcast is a $1 decision that gives you their whole life.

First batch: 500 units. Ships Oct 2026.
